Thank you to the students, staff and parents who attended the Stockton ANZAC March on Wednesday. It was wonderful to see so many participate.

On Tuesday, 15th May, students in K-2 got to meet some scaly creatures up close. During the ‘Snake Tails’ show, students found out about a range of native Australian lizards, including the Blue-Tongue lizard and the Bearded Dragon. They were told about the ways lizards protect themselves using camouflage and other tricks. Students viewed four different snakes; the Red-Bellied Black Snake, the Tiger Snake, the Australian Brown Snake and the Fierce Snake (all behind glass, of course!). Students enjoyed the show and many had their photo taken with an Olive Python.

Week 3 has been another busy week in 1/2Q. As always our mornings have been spent doing literacy groups. We need to give a big thank you to all the mums who help us with reading. We have also been working on maths groups with Miss Forde. This term we have started to work on a science unit about living things and are looking forward to making ‘Grass Heads’ next week. This week has been especially busy practising for our performances on the Multicultural day and of course making something special for our mums.
